Conley Marshall Vidal

This weekend was a special one for our son Conley. Sunday he was given a name and a blessing by his father. A large percentage of our family was able to attend.
Many members of the family were able to fit in some other fun things on Saturday to make the weekend a blast. One group in the family went to the lake. Here you can enjoy a quick video my cousin Kevin put together.


The Romberg's boat.Another group made it out to Lake Las Vegas for the Sunset Racing Triathlon. Tyson and Kari both competed.
Tyson got 8th I think - but a few ahead of him got a little confused on the markings of the race and, in the end, cheated, so Tyson would have been up higher on the score board. Not bad for breaking his toe right after the swim!
Kari (again) placed. She is getting used to placing. Such a pro!

Before the race we went swimming at the resort. It was a blast. Thanks Tyson and Kari for letting us use the pool.

Sunday was a wonderful day. Sweet little Conley was as quiet as a mouse during his blessing. He is such a calm baby. We love having him in our family. He was given a great blessing by Anthony. He was blessed with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and inspiration to learn about the Gospel. What more could a mother ask for?

After the blessing we took some pictures and then headed home for lunch. You can view all the pictures from the weekend here.

We had 47 total join us for lunch. It was a gorgeous day outside so it was nice to be able to use the backyard as a place to eat.

Conley (if he could talk) would want to thank everyone for coming this weekend. It was fun and meant a lot that so many made the trip. Those of you who couldn't make it - we missed you!

I think I have a pretty awesome family and this weekend proved that. We had so much fun and wrote many new memories.
