Care to Collage?

It's been a busy few days. First, Chloe Della Vidal turned 3 on the 18th and had a great party the next night. This birthday chica is all girl with beautiful long hair, earrings, dresses, flowers, etc. She is so cute. She is going to be quite the heart breaker. Good luck Ed and Ky!

Saturday we woke up bright and early and headed to Running Springs, CA. We stayed there for a few hours and then got all dressed up for Skyler's baptism.

Skyler is my cousin Josh's oldest. That makes her my first cousin once removed and 2nd cousins to my children. She is a darling little girl who is growing up way too fast. I'm not sure how Josh, crazy Josh, got such a calm little girl! Congratulations Skyler. We love you!

We headed to the baptism early (it's a good thing) because I sang and needed to meet with the accompanist. We got stuck on the way down the mountain. There was a huge accident. We ended up getting there 15 minutes early instead of one hour early. The middle picture in this collage became kind of a theme for the weekend, "there's got to be an app for this." Tracy even told the Young Women on Sunday during her lesson that perhaps there should be an app for repentance. Oh, there is. Just not invented by Apple!

The next day, Sunday, was Father's Day. Tracy, Amanda, my mom and I tried to put together a great meal and let the boys rest. But, Tad just couldn't help helping. The ribs were grilled to perfection!

After dinner we loaded up the car and headed back to Vegas. We did things in true Auntie Sarah style, bringing two little girls back with us. We woke up Monday and headed out to Hoover Dam. If you live in Vegas, go check it out. They're building a bridge to bypass the Dam. It's huge and would provide quite the engineering lesson for your kids!

It was really hot at the Dam, as you can see from that middle picture of Bradley. So, we didn't waste any time before jumping in Joe's pool. Here's Bradley, the newest "swimmer" in the family.

And, little Conley. This boy just melts my heart. He is so content and fun all the time.
Wednesday, yesterday, was Torie's birthday. We already had her party before we left Cali, but I wanted to make her actual day special. First, 11 mini-pancakes with candles. Next, an Old Navy shopping trip. Third, her first time through a Panda Express Drive Thru (a first for me too.) Next we went up to the temple for a photo-shoot. We ended the night with an Olive Garden dinner with Grandma Marshall topped off with a trip to Sheridan's for frozen custard. Happy Birthday Torie! I hope you had a great day!

I mentioned the temple and a photo-shoot? We left Conley home with his dad and the four of these cute kids joined me at the Las Vegas Temple.

I took the girls so they could remember how special the temple is and how they can strive to be worthy to attend, not because I take great pictures. But, what a bonus; the pictures turned out adorable. Here's a few from Torie's shoot.

Also yesterday, our delivery finally came! Bradley was so excited. In fact, he kept jumping up and down and saying, "I'm so excited." His dad and Abuelo can now build the playground. It'll be up and running soon! Thanks Abuelo and Abuela for the gift!

And last but not least, this little girl is just getting more and more fun. Her personality just kills me! This is my favorite 2-year-old girl in the WORLD!
